2:43 he was kinda cute there.

When it turned while having mike hostage my sister called me. I was like. PERFECT TIMING. First of all, I've read the novel and liked it a lot- not one of my favorites (not even my favorite King novel) but I really enjoyed it. So when the first It (chapter 1, i guess) came out I was fairly pleased at how it was structured and executed. While I thought it could have been much better, and it relied a little heavily on the jump scares and had some cheesy effects, I liked this version of Pennywise and felt that, above all, the TONE was right. Well after seeing part 2 my low expectations have been confirmed and surpassed.
My guess is that Cary Joji Fukanaga's involvement was crucial to the success of the first film. Much like with True Detective's decline between seasons 1+2, Fukanaga proved to be the one who really gave the show it's brilliance. Here, with It Chapter 2, Fukanaga is gone and this loser Gary Dauberman (eye roll) has taken on the writing duties alone- as in no supervision! He sucks, just look at his credits. Muchietti is terrible too obviously, because how could he misfire this bad with such a big project! All he had to do was stick to the blueprint laid out by the first film. Instead, Dauberman and Muchietti make this a bad comedy based on some idiot adults we don't know or care about. Nothing against Hader and Ransome, but they were used horribly in this. There are so many failed attempts at humor, the pacing is ALL WRONG.

No offense to the teens but I feel like their reactions didnt do a justice to the trailer and the story of It itself. When I watched the move that part scared the hell out of me my mom and my sister she was naked my dad covered my brothers eyes. Love Pennywise, thriller, horror, must watch, action with creepy. Thankful to Warner Bros. that we don't have to wait for 27 years. I love the subtle nods of Richie liking Eddie just in the 1st Neibolt scene. He thinks he hears Eddie in the clown room. He says Eddie's name twice worried about him. He's trying to console Eddie when Pennywise is marching to them after Bev stabs it telling Eddie to focus on him (Richie.) And Richie snaps Eddie's arm back into place.

2:17 No one : Ed kids who think they are vacuum cleaner.

Best scene in the film.

I honestly thought the scariest scene was when you see Bob Gray putting on his makeup and tearing his face.

It chapter three: Bill skarsgard in the movie but he can transform into pennywise like vampires.

I hope this is better than the. Here to relive the excitement and contentment I felt while waiting till two in the morning for this to premiere. The countdown, my eyes bulging out my head from being so invested in it, finally seeing and hearing the content I've wanted for two years, thinking the music was the most awesome thing to reach my ears, rewatching it at least ten times and then finally going to bed, coming up with ideas and theories as to what is what, the visuals and audio were so astounding to me and I felt so intense but in a good way. When it came out in theaters, I waited a week so I could enjoy it without a crowd and went on a school day (I graduated last year) a couple people said they wanted to come with me but I said no because I didn't want to associate my new favorite movie with another person and I also wanted to just enjoy and soak up the experience. I loved the movie (still do) and although it was a bit disappointing in some regards, I'm still hoping for a directors cut or a prequel. For a long time THIS was what I was looking forward to.

Eddie: “I think I killed It!” Me: if only you couldve seen the health bar... Ending Explained: Pennywise 😈 Loosers 🤡 Pennywise 🥺. Honestly I think one of the scariest/most unsettling scenes is the dead lights scene near the end.
